The narrative is now singular: Broadcom is the ASIC winner. A project that becomes pure narrative is a project where the structural risk reprices violently. Broadcom is now that project. Broadcom's AI revenue is announced to reach $16 billion this quarter. That number excites revenue models. It terrifies margin models. Custom accelerators require massive die sizes, HBM integration, and advanced CoWoS packaging. TSMC pricing power is absolute. The CSPs will make this trade regardless of NVIDIA's next architecture. Broadcom's architectural co-design partnerships with Google and the newly won OpenAI contract position it as the default design house for hyperscale inference, independent of the training GPU wars. Moreover, the take-or-pay contract structure that I criticized as fragile also provides genuine revenue visibility over the next four years.
